- Requests are to be made at least 2 business days prior to proceeding. Requests made without adequate advance notice may only be fulfilled based on staff and equipment availability.

- You are responsible for connecting your devices to the equipment and providing all necessary cables and adapters.
- The Court is unable to provide laptops.

- No devices other than removable media such as CD, or thumbdrive, will be allowed to be connected to the Sharpboard solution. Please request the Nyrius if you have that kind of requirement.

- You must know what courtroom your proceedings will be in so that we can properly reserve equipment for you.
- If the opposing party brings their own equipment our equipment is not deployed. Parties will share the equipment. Parties that wish to use their own equipment or wish to test their equipment before the proceedings please contact 239-533-1771, and select option 5 to schedule a setup/test time. This is only available Monday-Friday from 2PM-5PM and is subject to Courtroom availability.
- Availability - Each courtroom has or uses specific equipment, you will be given access to what is available to that courtroom. We have 70” Display monitors (HDMI connection) in the Justice Center Proper and the Tower courtrooms. Some smaller rooms have a smaller Display or Projector and stand. Cables (50’ HDMI) are provided with the unit and MUST stay with the unit. DO NOT unplug our cable from the unit at any time or connect any devices to the Display other than via our provided HDMI cable. You are responsible for making sure your device has the necessary connections, and provide any adapters if needed.

User Agreement
Courtroom technology is provided as a courtesy to the legal profession and court participants.
While the court will make every effort to ensure the equipment is working properly, the court does not guarantee the reliability or availability of the equipment.
It is presumed that anyone using courtroom technology is properly trained to do so. The court is not responsible to provide educational or technical support for these services.
By using this technology provided by the 20th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida (hereinafter referred to as the "Court"), you (hereinafter referred to as the "User")
agrees to hold the court harmless for any equipment failure or corruption of data, for any court related proceeding, and to not seek to delay/reschedule of court proceedings due to same.
The Court will make every effort to ensure the presentation equipment is working properly, however the Court does not guarantee the compatibility nor reliability of the equipment.
You are allowed to bring your own equipment to Court if you so choose. Finally, users agree to be prepared to proceed without using technology should the circumstances warrant such action.
